Handicap mental
In 2016, I was employed as a care support worker in a residential home for people with intellectual disabilities. Over time, I learned how to accompany others while photographing the everyday reality of lives lived under guardianship: attending medical appointments, preparing meals, organising outings in the city.
Working in total immersion, within the blurred boundaries imposed by this role, I gradually became part of the daily lives of the vulnerable individuals I was supporting.
